Lesson Description

This Physics resource uses the real-life context of the England Women’s football team to explore how pressure affects the movement and performance of a football. Watch the short starter film to discover insights from England Goalkeeper Mary Earps, as well as one of the Team Performance Analysts, about the important role of science in making them a successful team. There are two practical activities for students to try out, both of which can be adapted depending on the space and facilities available to you.
