    Every resource, lesson plan, and activity on STEM CREW is 100% free. As a charity, we are committed to making quality education accessible to all, ensuring that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of inspiring the next generation in STEM.
  2. Why do I need to register for access?
    Since the 1851 Trust is a charity, we ask users to register to help us understand who is benefiting from our free resources. This allows us to continue providing high-quality STEM and climate education while demonstrating our impact to supporters and funders.
  3. What do the resources include?
    Our programs include over 60 free STEM, PHSE and Climate resources, complete with lesson plans, editable powerpoints, videos and animations, worksheets, assemblies, case studies, and practical activities inspired by elite sports and cutting-edge technology.
  4. Can these resources be linked to curriculum standards?
    Yes! STEMCrew resources are curriculum-linked, making it easy to seamlessly integrate them into your existing lesson plans. You can look for the key stage or age on every resource to choose the correct one to support your lesson planning.
  5. What types of activities or lessons are offered?
    Students can take part in lots of hands-on learning experiences from experiments based on resistance and friction, analysing data from real-world sports scenarios, to learning how to make your own seed bomb our library of resources allow students to explore engineering challenges inspired by racing sails, F1 cars, and more.
