Go Sailing

Sailing is a fantastic sport that gives young people the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills, and provides a great platform for applying STEM learning, which can lead to career opportunities they may not have considered. Sailing develops key life skills, builds confidence, fosters team work & cultivates resilience.

If your school meets the criteria you may be able to participate in the Rebels Sailing Programme; a national sailing initiative that offers free or subsidised sailing opportunities for young people age 11-14 years through their school. In 2019 there are 12 Flagship centres with plans for more in 2020 and beyond.

Get Onboard

Alternatively, the National Governing Body for Sailing, the RYA, has a school sailing programme delivered through its club network called OnBoard.
